It is known that termites and other wood-destroying insects can cause significant structural damage in homes. In Texas, termites are active from February through November, with peak activity occurring from May to October. In this part of the country, termites make up more than fifty percent of all reported pest problems. The purpose of termite pest inspections includes finding “evidence” termites have been present on a home’s foundation or within its framing. Unfortunately, most termite inspections san antonio teams cannot detect or diagnose actual structural damage caused by termites unless it has progressed to a point where repairs will be needed shortly. Termites cause damage to wood by removing its moisture content, and in the process, the wood becomes dry and brittle, which is what I term “termite-damaged wood.” So, termite-infested homes can look perfectly normal on the outside, but because termites have severely weakened the structure, they may need to perform significant repairs very soon. Therefore, it is vital to get the help of experienced and highly qualified termite inspection professionals to ensure your home is safe and protected from such pests.

- Destiny GuerraI called to inquire about services and the office staff was helpful and friendly and provided me with the information I needed regarding their services. A week later I ended up scheduling to get a Home Inspection + Mold Testing (additional cost) completed at a home I am closing on. Robert Trimyer was my certified inspector. He was very professional and called ahead of time to confirm appointment time. He ended up showing up earlier than scheduled due to being done ahead of his schedule. This inspector was very detailed and thorough throughout the whole inspection. He supplied me with lots of tips and home maintenance suggestions on the house. He answered all questions I had. My report was so detailed and provided ever piece of information I needed for repairs. I am really please with the service provided to me and I feel peace of mind that I had Robert as my inspector because his work reflected great experience and expertise. - Jennifer VillegasI have been going through this mold nightmare for almost a year and have been extremely ill. We had been in contact with several contractors and had no luck with finding anyone knowledgeable. I contacted Lone Star and the nice lady who answered the phone listened to all of my issues and was able to answer questions; she got a team to come inspect my home within a day. Jason and team were professional and thorough, they inspected my entire home. Jason took time to answer all of my questions and gave details as to what the inspection included. They found the issues that are causing the mold and were able to recommend how to eradicate the issues. Not only did they send a detailed report with videos and pictures the same day, Jason called me and explained which issues were most urgent. I have been in contact with countless contractors and Lone Star is by far the most professional, knowledgeable and extremely reasonably priced. My husband and I were at work, I had my mother in law come over, so my adult daughter would not be alone. I am always cautious when allowing people in my home. When the team left, my daughter made a comment, "I don't have to worry if they need to come back, they are good guys." I totally agree!!! - 11/05/2024Read moreRead less

Jason did an incredible job with our inspection. All we asked was for a simple inspection of the exterior brick of our home as a portion of our wall had collapsed. We needed a thorough report in case we needed to file a lawsuit against the builder. Jason left no stone unturned, going as far as climbing onto the roof of our home and peaking behind the brick that was still standing, letting us know all of the things the builder did wrong (or didn’t do at all). With such a detailed report, we are confident we won’t have to pay a dime to get our wall fixed! I cannot recommend Lone Star Inspections enough! - 10/28/2024Read moreRead lessJeff FridayI went with a new build so I thought to myself, "what could a home inspector possibly find?".
